Glenbardie

Glenbardie is a self-catering cottage in Ballater, Aberdeenshire.

Standing in its own walled and secluded garden on the edge of the lovely market town of Ballater this very comfortable Victorian house is furnished and equipped to very high standards. From its small tower room there are spectacular views of the surrounding countryside.

In the heart of Royal Deeside Glenbardie is an excellent base for touring this beautiful and varied part of the Highlands. Balmoral Castle is just 7 miles away and the Castle Whisky and Heritage Trails and the ski centres at Glenshee and the Lecht make this an ideal holiday centre at any time of year. There is lovely walking to be enjoyed in this area of wooded moorland lochs and nature reserves with the magnificent Grampians to the north. Ballater boasts excellent shops pubs and restaurants sports centre cycle hire golf and fishing on the River Dee and riding is available nearby.
