Just a few minutes walk from the harbour and with so much beautiful countryside to discover, Elisabeth Cottage is a wonderful holiday cottage at any time of year.

Often linked with neighbouring Macduff, Banff is set on the shores of a lovely sandy beach and is full of interesting architectural points. The incredible Duff House is a good example – this impressive Georgian mansion which is open to visitors and homes paintings and artefacts from the National Galleries of Scotland. The surrounding area provides a good selection of shops, hotels and restaurants whilst the gorgeous little town of Pennan, situated in a little bay at the base of rugged cliffs, has been not only a smugglers village, but also the location for the movie 'Local Hero'. On both the Whisky and Castle trails, this wonderful little town also boasts multiple fishing, sailing, dolphin watching, surfing, golfing and climbing opportunities, not to mention the breathtaking scenery and stunning sunsets.
