Outside, there is an enclosed patio garden, a lovely spot for a morning coffee or evening meal. Golden sandy beaches are just a few minutes drive, or simply stroll into town to visit the shops, pubs and restaurants.

The wonderful countryside of Dumfries and Galloway surrounds the town, which is also located just a few minutes drive from beautiful sandy beaches and a loch for river fishing. With a variety of shops including a baker, butcher, grocer, bank and post office, and pubs serving food and welcoming families, Gatehouse of Fleet also has a fascinating visitors centre set in a former bobbin mill, telling the story of the town’s cotton spinning days.
