There is an abundance of wildlife that can be viewed and there is walking from the door step. There is excellent cycling with Abriachan Forest Tracks and Great Glen Cycle Track both close by. Explore the ancient Caledonian Forest of Glen Affric and Plodda Falls.

It is only 3 miles to Loch Ness with boat trips and good pub serving food.

Nearby are attractive seaside villages and possible dolphin spotting at Chanory Point. Inverness (13 miles) has city attractions, theatre and Culloden Battlefield.
