The De Vere Cameron House is a baronial-style country house hotel set in 100 acres of wooded grounds on the banks of Loch Lomond, 10 miles from Glasgow.

The 96 guestrooms have traditional Victorian decor with a distinctly Scottish flavour and come equipped with satellite television with pay movies, minibars, direct dial phones, and tea and coffee making facilities. Bathrooms include designer toiletries, bathrobes and hair dryers.

The hotel features a lagoon-style 21 metre swimming pool and a spa with four treatment rooms, a steam room, saunas and a plunge pool with body showers. There is a fully-equipped gym, two squash courts and a snooker room, and yoga and aerobics are also on offer.

The hotel has its own challenging 9 hole golf course known as the Wee Demon, and a marina houses the Celtic Warrior motor boat which is available for trips round Loch Lomond.

For children, there is a playroom, a toddler's pool and a fully supervised creche, and the Cammie Club organises a full programme of indoor and outdoor activities for kids at holiday times and weekends.

The hotel offers a range of outdoor activities including archery, quad biking and 4x4 off road driving. Guests can hire a mountain bike to ride along one of the dedicated cycling trails or play tennis on the all weather courts. Fishing is available in Loch Lomond, as are jet skiing, motor boating, and water skiing.

There are conference and banqueting facilities for up to 300 people and free parking for up to 200 cars.

Dining options include the formal Georgian Room with its chandeliers and classic cuisine with a contemporary twist, Smollets, specialising in dishes made from fine Scottish produce, and the Marine Restaurant and Bar, which has an open kitchen and a wood burning oven and serves a Mediterranean menu by the loch's edge.

Loch Lomond Shores, a visitor and shopping centre is 800 metres from the hotel.
