Burntshield Farm is a stone built cottage in a wing of the owner's home set on farmland near to the village of Sorn in East Ayrshire. The cottage is ideal for two people as it has a double bedroom, a bathroom and a shower room, a fitted kitchen with a dining area and a sitting room with a woodburning stove. Outside the cottage is a lawned garden with outdoor furniture and a barbecue, as well as off road parking for two cars. Close to the River Ayr and with excellent walking nearby, Burntshield Farm is a superb holiday home.

Full oil central heating with additional heating from woodburner in sitting room. Electric double oven with gas hob, fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, colour TV with Freeview, DVD, library of books, games and DVDs. All fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off road parking for 2 cars. Lawned garden to rear with patio, garden furniture and BBQ. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and restaurant/bar 2.5 miles. Note: Dogs must be kept on leads when outside the property due to sheep in the surrounding fields.

The village of Sorn is in a rural setting and has remained relatively unchanged for the past 200 years. Situated on the River Ayr, the village has an award-winning restaurant, bistro and bar, church and general store. Sorn is in an ideal location for exploring the Ayrshire coast with its magnificent beaches and internationally renowned golf courses, plus further afield are the cities of Glasgow and Edinburgh.
