Braveheart Backpackers is a hostel in Killin, Perthshire.

Situated in the scenic village of Killin ('one of Scotland's prettiest villages') by beautiful Loch Tay. We are located next to Killin Hotel in a small courtyard behind the church. Great hillwalking and 'munro bagging' location with Ben Lawers very nearby. Bikes, canoes and kayaks available to rent from the hostel and guided tours arranged too. This is a great place to chill out or be active in a fabulous location within the Loch Lomond &Trossachs National Park.Much to do & see in the area with ancient castles, whisky distilleries, stone circles, early Celtic Christian & Druidic standing stones, crannogs (Bronze age loch dwellings), ancient woodlands, Fortingall Yew Tree 'the world's oldest tree' & Glen Lyon, 'Scotland's loveliest glen', are all a short distance away. This is an area steeped in history & mystery, so come & catch it whilst it is still one of Scotland's best kept secrets!
