This property has been recently renovated and now has all mod cons. It's a detached stone croft building located in Portessie itself and has glorious views of the rugged landscapes from most of the windows of the house. The property is all on the ground floor and has 3 double bedrooms, 2 of which have en suite bathrooms with showers. There's another bathroom with a bath, a large open plan living/dining/sitting area and a country style kitchen with wooden units and all the appliances necessary to cook up some tasty meals – preferably using some of the incredible local produce that this region is famous for.
Full central heating with additional heating from living flame gas fire in sitting room. Electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, 2 x LCD TV with Freeview, DVD, video, stereo/CD player etc. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc in rent. Off road parking for 3 cars. Large lawned garden with patio area and garden furniture. Sorry, no smoking. One well behaved pet by arrangement. Shop, Post Office and pub 2 mins walk. Pub with restaurant in Findochty 5 mins drive. Note: Although accommodation is all ground floor, this property is not suitable for wheelchair access.
The attractive old villages of Gardenstown and Pennan are also nearby, as is Cullen, which has one Scotland's largest beaches. Within easy reach of this accommodation, Cullen is a popular destination with families because of its massive beach but also because there's plenty of nature spotting to enjoy. If there's a bird watcher in the family then they'll be pleased to know that the RSPB Reserve in Spey is also in the area. The Moray Firth is also a top place for spotting bottle-nosed dolphins and there are regular dolphin spotting boat excursions on offer throughout the day.
