Blarcreen House is an elegant granite-built Victorian mansion, which stands on the shores of Loch Etive in historical Ardchattan Estate.

There has been a dwelling on this site for over four hundred years. The present establishment was built circa 1886. The guest house decor is designed on classic and traditional lines, blending in naturally with the local beauty and peaceful setting of Blarcreen.

Blarcreen is the perfect base for anyone who enjoys the peace and tranquility of the Scottish countryside. Oban and the surrounding area offers a wide range of activities from gentle strolls along the Loch shore to such sports as kayaking, mountain biking and gliding. If you have a particular interest then let us know and we will endeavour to find out more for you.

Each of our well appointed rooms boast an individual styling in both decor and furniture, with uninterrupted views across Loch Etive to the hills and mountains beyond. All have central heating, flat screen television with DVD and Sky TV, radio, tea and coffee making facilities.

A full cooked breakfast is served in the guest house dining room and dinner can also be taken with prior arrangment. In addition, there is a large private sitting room with a log fire, TV/DVD with a large selection of DVDs and small reading library.
