There is a king-size double bedroom, a twin room which can be made up as a double if required, and a sofabed in the cosy study, offering a real flexibility of accommodation. There are numerous walks from the doorstep, plus castles and country houses within easy reach. Less than an hours travelling takes you to Edinburgh to the north or Newcastle-upon-Tyne to the south, ensuring there is no shortage of things to entertain and enjoy from this lovely property.

The bustling fishing port of Eyemouth is set just over the Scottish border, eight miles north of the historic walled town of Berwick-upon-Tweed. Eyemouth still has a fish market supplied from local fishing boats, narrow cobbled streets preserve the ancient character of this delightful coastal town, and there are a number of visitor attractions outlining the history of the area, including its smuggling past. A cliff-top golf course in the town and a number of other courses in the area mean the town is an ideal golfing retreat. When your game is over, why not enjoy the walking, cycling, bird watching, castles or country houses all within a short driving distance. Both Edinburgh and Newcastle upon Tyne are reached in an hour, making Eyemouth a wonderful base for touring South Scotland, and the North of England.
