Art House Hostel

Art House Hostel is a hostel in Edinburgh, Midlothian.

Art House Hostel a truly great traditional Scottish Music and Art hostel in the art heart centre of Edinburgh with Asian design influences making it a boutique hostel. Our hostel is unique, run by two artists and a musician. An Art Gallery is in progress and a music room with stage and mics and amp for open mic sessions.

We offer free wireless internet and washing machine facilities and free towel! The Art House is a large Georgian Townhouse in a very artistic neighbourhood of Edinburgh. We are close to Edinbrurgh's two art house cinemas, the best theatres and only 10 minutes walk from the Castle.

We have a cinema and the house is really spectacular!! More privacy than other hostels as we only accommodate maximum of 18 guests. We also have private flats all centrally located available for further privacy if required.

There are 4 Double Beds for Couples and families in all of the rooms: Purple Artist's Studio, Green Old School, Blue Philospher's and Yellow Garden View Rooms but not the Red Watch Tower.

On arrival: A £10 returnable key deposit to be paid & one piece of I.D. left with reception until departure and balance paid in full. Please leave shoes on front Shoe Rack as no shoes in the Art House.

There is a no smoking policy anywhere in Art House, however there is a bench and a wee bucket at the front of the house where you can have a puff.

We shall do our best to place you in your room of choice. However, we reserve the right of flexibility to be sensitive to issues of gender. Check In Time is after 12 noon and Check Out Time Is Before 11am. Thank you for your cooperation, the Art House.
