5 Larachbeg is steeped in rural charm and is a stone built terrace cottage. The house was first built with the purpose of housing workers who were labouring at Ardtornish estate nearby but that was over 100 years ago. The property has been lovingly updated and has a large modern kitchen/dining area where everyone can gather round in the evening time. The property has 1 double bedroom, 1 twin bedroom, 1 single bedroom and 1 bathroom. There's also a wood burner in the living room so if it gets a little chilly you can cosy up next to it! Lovely views of the surrounding forests, woods and hills can all be seen from this house.
Full oil central heating with additional heating from woodburner in sitting room. Electric cooker, microwave, fridge, freezer (in shed), washing machine, colour TV, DVD, radio/CD player, library of books, games, DVD's. Fuel, power and starter pack of fuel for open fire inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Stairgate. Roadside parking for 2 cars. Lawned garden to rear, gravel front garden with garden furniture and BBQ. Pets welcome. Sorry no smoking. Shop and pub 3 miles.
The quiet village of Lochaline lies on the Morven Peninsula, which is famous for being one of Britain's most remote areas. Lochaline also overlooks the shiny waters of the Sound of Mull. The charming village of Lochaline is perched next to the very start of the sea loch and is well served by various shops including a post office. There are some delicious treats to be had at the village snack bar, a sophisticated hotel to go and have drinks in the lobby at, a seafood restaurant serving some of Scotland's freshest fish and a popular diving school as well. The idyllic Isle Of Mull is also incredibly easy to get to and there's a car ferry leaving regularly to take tourists over in the holiday season.
