Spacious and comfortable, this detached cottage is set on a working croft in the scattered community of Mellon Charles on the northern coast of Scotland, in the Wester-Ross region. There are some wonderful sea and mountain views from many rooms of this property, which includes a ground floor double room, along with a further double and a twin room on the first floor. There is a fitted kitchen, a separate dining room with sea views and a sitting room with an electric fire, a perfect spot for relaxing. Outside, there is a large enclosed garden, and off road parking for two cars. Close to this lovely community are sandy beaches, varied wildlife, spectacular gardens and unspoilt, glorious nature.

Aultbea is a village in Wester-Ross, on the shores of Loch Ewe, and an ideal base for enjoying the North-West Highlands. Inverewe Gardens, 5 miles away, is a world famous walled garden, known for its superb wildlife and stunning views. Gruinard Bay, close to Aultbea, is a beautiful spot with pinky-red sand and an impressive mountainous backdrop. Facilities in Aultbea include two hotels and a shop, the wonderful broad sands on the beach at Mellon Udrigle are close by, and the wildlife that inhabits the area includes seals and otters.
