Inveravon 2

This Class I symbol stone is one of four, along with Inveravon 1, Inveravon 3 and Inveravon 4, which were found below or adjacent to the present Inveravon parish church.

Inveravon 2 measures around 1.5m tall by 0.46m across at its widest point and is carved with a crescent and V-rod, a cauldron, a mirror and a comb. For many years it stood against the south exterior wall of the church but has now been relocated to the church’s north porch.
