Inveravon 1

This Class I symbol stone is one of four, along with Inveravon 2, Inveravon 3 and Inveravon 4, which were found below or adjacent to the present Inveravon parish church.

Inveravon 1 measures around 1.5m tall by 0.9m across by 0.15m thick and is carved with an eagle, a mirror case, a mirror and a comb. For many years it stood against the south exterior wall of the church but has now been relocated to the church’s north porch.
