Tundergarth Castle (site of)

Tundergarth Castle was a tower house belonging to the Johnstones.

When the Bruce family were granted the lordship of Annandale in the 12th century they divided the area into smaller landholdings. The Hoddom family were the owners of Tundergarth and Hoddom at this time.
