Sundrum motte (possible)

This possible motte stands around 470m east-north-east of its probable successor Sundrum Castle.

The motte seems to have been created from a natural mound on the edge of a steep slope down to the Water of Coyle. It measures around 4.0m in height and its roughly circular flat summit is around 19.0m in diameter. To the north-west and south-east of the base of the mound are traces of possible ditches.
