Steirn (site of)

Birkhall in its current form was built by the Gordons of Abergeldie from 1715 onwards, but either incorporates, or replaced, an earlier castle named as “Steirn” on Gordon of Straloch’s map of 1654.

Birkhall is now the official home of The Prince of Wales in Scotland.
