Rothiebrisbane (site of)

There was a tower at Rothiebrisbane although the site is now occupied by a farm. A finely-carved 17th century finial has been installed on the gable end of a 19th century steading. Rothiebrisbane was described as a lesser barony of Aberdeenshire in 1598 and in the mid-17th century it was owned by John Smith of Inveramsay.
