Queensberry Lodging

The former Queensberry Lodging, now housing the Tweeddale Museum and Gallery, is thought to be one of six bastle houses that were extant in Peebles 1870.

Part of the basement is vaulted and thought to date to the 16th or 17th centuries. The building was extensively remodelled and extended in the 19th century.
