Prieston

Pont 24 (Auchtergaven and Kinclaven, Perthshire)Timothy Pont, c. 1583-1596map image courtesy of NLS

A substantial tower named Preestoun is marked on Pont’s late 16th century map.

The tower may be shown on an island, or perhaps surrounded by a wooded park, downstream from Airleywight.

I have placed it on Prieston Road in Bankfoot pending further research.
