Pitkeathly (possible)

Drummonie House, formerly known as Pitkeathly House, is usually ascribed a date of construction of 1697 however it may incorporate earlier work.

Pitkeithly is marked on a c.1720 print of Adair’s map of Strathearn however it is based on a damaged map of 1683 where unfortunately the location of Pitkeathly is obscured.

In 1653 Laurence Oliphant of Pitkeathly married Elizabeth Auchinleck, daughter of Sir William Auchinleck of Balmanno.
