Little Peel (site of)

Little Peel was one of three castles standing in Darnick during the 16th century, but nothing now remains of it.

Despite being a small village, Darnick once had three castles – Little Peel, Fisher’s Tower and Darnick Tower.

While the other two towers still stand, the site of Little Peel is occupied by Darnick Cottage, built in 1808.
