A castle is said to have existed at Kilduff, although its precise location is unknown. Until I have had the chance to do further research I have placed it close to Kilduff House, an 18th century mansion house.

It may be that Kilduff Tower was destroyed by Oliver Cromwell following his victory at the Battle of Dunbar in 1650 when he is known to have sacked Dirleton Castle, Hailes Castle, Innerwick Castle, and Tantallon Castle.
