Kilbrackmont

Kilbrackmont was a castle which latterly belonged to the Hamiltons although its exact location has been lost.

In the 14th century during the reign of David II John Bisset granted to Walter Bisset the lands of Clerkintoun and the lands of Kynbrekmonth.

I have placed the site of the tower at Kilbrackmont Place pending further research. There is also a farm named Kilbrackmont at NO 47140 06195.
