Kettins (possible) (site of)

Kettins was the site of a fortified house belonging to the Bishops of St Andrews but its exact location is now lost.

A building or small tower named Kethins is marked on Pont’s late 16th century map of Lower Angus and a tower named Ketins is marked on Blaeu’s late 17th century map of Angus.

I have placed the location of the tower at the site of the possible monastery of Kettins pending further research.
