Glack

A 19th century cottage at the farm of The Glack incorporates the remains of a small tower or bastle house.

One of the tower’s walls, complete with small window, can clearly be seen on the lower half of the west gable of the cottage where the stones are considerably larger than in the rest of the cottage. The tower originally had a vaulted basement however the vault was later removed.
