Folkerton (site of)

Tower Farm is the site of a probable early castle which was later replaced by a tower house called Folkerton.

A date stone carved with the initials WM, possibly for William Menzies, and the date 1666 or 1668 can be seen built into a ruined farm building at Barnhill (NS 86936 37108) and may have come from the tower.
