Elvingston

Elvingston House is a 19th century Jacobean-Baronial mansion which incorporates the remains an earlier tower house.

Part of the vaulted basement from the old tower still exists in the east end of the new house.

An early 18th century circular doocot to the north-east of the house is associated with an earlier building.
