Dunÿn

Caricta Borealis, vulgo, The northpart of Carrick
Joan Blaeu, Amsterdam, 1654map image courtesy of NLS

A tower named N. Dunÿn is marked on Blaeu’s mid-17th century map of the north part of Carrick but its exact location has been lost.

It may have been in the area of the farm of West Enoch so I have placed the site of the tower here pending further research.
