Dun Lagaidh is a rocky outcrop on which a fort was built, followed by a later dun. The site was later reoccupied and refortified as a castle, probably in the 12th century, and used certainly during the late 12th and early 13th centuries.
Dun Lagaidh is in the parish of Lochbroom and the county of Ross and Cromarty.
