Craiglockhart Castle is a small 15th century tower measuring around 8.5 metres by 7.3 metres, with walls 1.5 metres thick at the base. Originally it would have had four storeys.

It is now roofless and much reduced in height, with the walls standing to a height of around 9 metres on its eastern side, and perhaps half that on the western side.

On the west wall of the castle is a small doorway, now filled in.

Craiglockhart Castle stands on the edge of Napier University’s Craiglockhart campus.
