Castle of Loch Blair (site of)

The Castle of Loch Blair stood on a slight eminence close to Rosemount mansion, though nothing of it now remains.

It is thought to have been built in the early fifteenth century by the Coupar family.

The castle is said to have been destroyed during the rebellion of 1745 and the site of it was marked in the late 19th century by fir trees.
