Carmunnock (site of)

The barony of Carmunnock was created for Henry, son of Anselm, around 1182 although the exact site of it is open to debate.

This earthwork on Cathkin Braes Golf Course is the strongest contender, being within the parish of Carmunnock unlike another suggested location Castle Hill on the Kittoch Water.
