Cardon (site of)

Cardon was a probable 16th century tower house although the last remains of it had been demolished by the middle of the 19th century.

The tower was home to the Bowmakers of Cardon in the 15th and 16th centuries.

Several fragments of dressed pink sandstone are incorporated into nearby farm buildings, including one with a quirked edge-roll of 16th century date.
