Blackness Manor House (site of)

Blackness Manor House was a castle belonging to the Wedderburn family.

In 1654 Sir William Auchinleck of Balmanno sold parts of the lands of Blackness to Sir Alexander Wedderburn of Blackness, although how Auchinleck came to be in possession of that property is not clear.
