Baltersan Castle

Baltersan was owned by the Kennedys of Cassillis from the late 15th century, but Baltersan Castle in its present form was built in 1584 for John Kennedy.

It is now ruined, but is for sale and has planning permission for restoration and conversion into private or holiday accommodation.
