Balgonie (possible) (site of)

Balgonie was a property of the Moncreiff family at the end of the 16th century.

It has been identified as a possible medieval moated site.

Archibald Moncreiff of Balgony was minister of Abernethy in the late 16th century and married Margaret Auchinleck, daughter of George Auchinleck of Balmanno.
