Affleck Castle

Built in the late 15th century as the home of the Auchinleck or Affleck family, Affleck Castle is an L-plan tower house of four storeys topped with a garret.

In the 16th century a corbelled parapet was added, along with turrets on the corners, crow-stepped gables and chimney stacks.

The castle is in good condition today, and stands next to Affleck House and the Home Farm Of Affleck Castle.
