Star Inn Farm

A pit-defined cursus running WSW – ENE in a field to the W of the Invergowrie Burn was identified from aerial photographs. An irregular line of pits runs for around 85m from approximately NO 3412 3090 through a barrow, with a further 2 pits visible 50m away, before the line curves S, producing a flattened terminal. The S side is visible in two sections over a distance of around 50m, with the W terminal flattening around at about NO 3412 3090. There is no trace of the E terminal as the ground drops away towards the burn.
