Loch an Dùin

This broch stands on a small island within Loch an Dùin and is connected to the shore by a narrow causeway.

The broch has collapsed making measurement difficult however it is approximately 18.8m in diameter north-east to south-west by around 16.8m across north-west to south-east. The thickness of the walls is also difficult to measure accurately however the ye seem to vary from 3.0m to 3.8m.

The causeway runs for around 46.0m from the western shore of the loch to the island.
