This recumbent stone circle is made up of eleven standing stones ranging in height from 1.17m to 1.78m, the huge red granite recumbent stone, 3.81m in length, and three stones set at right-angles to the recumbent. The standing stones are all pinkish porphyry or red jasper except for the 'pillars' flanking the recumbent which are grey granite. They stand on a circle of diameter 19.5 - 20.1m.
