This stone is part of a wider complex of standing stones (comprising Dunruchan A, Dunruchan B, Dunruchan C, Dunruchan E and Dunruchan F). This stone would appear to be one half a typical Perthshire pair of standing stones. It measures 2.59m tall, and is slab-like in appearance, in contrast to the more rounded shape of its near neighbour Dunruchan E. It differs from the other stones in that it stands on a cairn of diameter 4.60m.
