Cnoc Fillibhir Bheag consists of two concentric circles of stones. The inner ring has 4 erect stones standing on a diameter of around 8.5m, while the outer ring has 8 erect and 5 prostrate stones and measures around 16m in diameter. The inner stones are the largest, measuring between 1.40m and 2.10m in height, while the outer stones are quite a bit smaller, measuring between 1.00m and 1.80m in height.

Callanish and the "Sleeping Beauty" range of hills are both visible from this circle, as is the nearby Cnoc Ceann a'Gharraidh stone circle, closer to the loch. A path leads to the latter circle.
