The historic map is an Ordnance Survey map from 1919 to 1947, and is provided by the National Library of Scotland

This large standing stone, measuring 1.5m high by some 1.1m wide and around 0.4m thick, stands on an embankment by the busy A9, but most motorists are oblivious to its presence. It commands great views down Glen Garry and in 1792 there were said to be two or three other stones lying by it.
