Achmore

There isn’t a huge amount to see at Achmore, but it’s still an interesting site, with great views over the “Sleeping Beauty ” mountains to the south.

The site was largely covered by peat, with one standing stone and a stone stump visible, but peat clearance over the years has revealed a total of 18 stones lying on a circle of diameter 41m.
